Whitelisted Ad Accounts

Privacy policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

whitelisted-ad-accounts.com works without registration, without a contact form and without advertising cookies. This page explains which data is nevertheless processed, for what purpose and for how long.

1. Controller

Provimedia GmbH, Weidenweg 12, 74321 Bietigheim-Bissingen, represented by the managing director Alexander Weipprecht. Email: info@provimedia-team.de, Phone: +49 (0)7142-9170511.

Data protection officer: Patrick Rempfer, rempfer@provimedia-team.de.

2. Visiting the website and server logs

Each time a page is accessed, our web server stores the following in log files: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, status code, the previously visited page (referrer) and the browser identifier.

  • Purpose: Delivering the page, security (defending against attacks) and troubleshooting.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is secure and functioning operation.
  • Storage period: The logs are rotated daily and deleted after 14 days.
  • Recipients: The server is hosted by der Hetzner Online GmbH in Deutschland, bound as a data processor.

3. Audience measurement with Matomo, without cookies

We use Matomo to measure which pages are read and which affiliate links are clicked. Matomo runs on a dedicated server operated by Provimedia GmbH (www.provimedia.de/analytics); data is not passed on to third parties.

  • No cookies: Matomo is configured so that it stores nothing on your device and reads nothing from it beyond what the page request involves.
  • Data processed: truncated IP address (the last two bytes are removed before storage), pages visited, time spent, outbound links clicked, whether a notice about our recommendations (section 5) was shown, closed or clicked, browser, operating system, screen size and approximate region.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is improving our service.
  • Storage period: Raw data is deleted after 365 days; after that, only aggregated reports without personal reference remain.
  • Do Not Track: If your browser sends the “Do Not Track” signal, you are not tracked.

Objection: Your browser remembers your objection (entry “whitelisted-ad-accounts-messung-aus” in local storage); after that, Matomo is no longer loaded on whitelisted-ad-accounts.com. Without JavaScript, no measurement takes place.

Audience measurement is active.

4. Product images from Amazon, only with consent

Product images are loaded from servers of Amazon EU S.à r.l. or affiliated companies, because the terms of the Amazon Associates Programme do not permit storing them on our server. In the process, Amazon receives your IP address and the information about which image was requested. On pages with product images, we therefore ask you in a notice window.

  • „Show“: All product images are loaded, on this page and on every further page.
  • „No“: You see placeholders. Clicking a placeholder loads exactly that one image; the click constitutes your consent for that image.
  • Legal basis: Your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, and for access to your device § 25(1) TDDDG.
  • Storing your decision: Your choice (“yes” or “no”) is stored in your browser’s local storage (entry “whitelisted-ad-accounts-amazon-bilder”) so that we do not ask you again on every page view (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). We do not set a cookie for this, and the entry does not leave your browser.
  • Changes and withdrawal: at any time with effect for the future via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page: .
  • Amazon’s privacy notice: amazon.de/datenschutz.

5. Affiliate links

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. If you click a link marked “Ad” or *, you go to the provider. The link contains our affiliate ID so that the provider can attribute a purchase or contract to us. What the provider processes in doing so (such as cookies on its site) is governed by the provider under its own responsibility. Affiliate programmes do not set any cookies on whitelisted-ad-accounts.com itself.

Notices about our recommendations: On some pages we display a bar or card marked “Ad”. It leads to our own recommendation list or product page, never directly to a provider. If you close a notice, your browser remembers this choice in local storage (entry “whitelisted-ad-accounts-cta”) so that the notice stays closed for 7 days (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG). The entry contains only the times at which you closed a notice, no identifier, and does not leave your browser. As long as you do not close anything, we store nothing. We do not set a cookie for this. You can delete the entry at any time by removing the website data for whitelisted-ad-accounts.com in your browser; without it, the notices reappear as on your first visit.

6. YouTube videos, only after a click

Videos are initially just a placeholder. Only when you click “Load video from YouTube” is the video loaded in privacy-enhanced mode from youtube-nocookie.com. Google Ireland Ltd. or YouTube then receive your IP address and the page visited; YouTube may store data on your device during playback. The legal basis is your consent given by the click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Google’s privacy notice: policies.google.com/privacy.

7. Fonts

The fonts are hosted on our own server. No fonts are loaded from Google or other third parties. The same applies to the videos in the page header: they are hosted on our server, and nothing is retrieved from third parties during playback.

8. Comments

Comments under articles are an archive from previous years; no new posts are possible there. For archived posts we only show the name given at the time and the text; we did not carry over email addresses during the migration.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)). To do so, write to info@provimedia-team.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.

10. No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
